During my studies at The University of East Anglia I was elected Social Security and with the marvellous Nick Rayns (who I think is still there) was responsible for booking and organising entertainmente. The programme we put up must have been one of the best for a university in the UK at the time, if not the best, and involved me seeing an enormous amount of films; doing a bit of DJ ing and of course promoting shows.
